Stocks were mixed on Monday.

The Dowell fell six tenth percent.

The S&P lost almost two tenth percent, but the NASDAQ rose a quarter percent.

The yield on the 10-year government bond topped 5 percent at one point on Monday.

The 10-year yield hasn't done that since 2007. One reason is

because investors think that the Federal Reserve will be keeping interest

rates higher for longer since the economy is still pretty strong. Chevron says it's buying the oil company Hess Corporation
