Summary

On October 1, 1993, twelve year old Polly Klaas was kidnapped by a stranger in the middle of a sleepover she was hosting at her own house. It’s one of the most infamous child abduction cases in California history. Polly’s dad, Marc Klaas, shares the tragic and gripping story of what happened that night to Polly. As the victim of a violent crime, he offers a personal perspective on the death penalty. Plus, Marc has a raw and unfiltered reaction to California’s soft-on-crime laws, which he believes contributed to Polly’s murder and even caused Governor Newsom to halt her murderer’s execution on death row. Marc has dedicated his life to advocating on behalf of children so that no other child or parent has to go through what he and his family have endured. This is a story that has the power to save a child’s life.
