Governor Mike Braun gave his State of the State address last night, and he said the state of the

state is strong because Hoosiers are strong. He said Hoosiers are resilient. Through a shared desire to

make our state truly great, we will build a foundation for something truly exceptional.

It was the first, it was the first speech since the Mitch Daniels administration,

which was a forward-looking vision for taxpayers in the state of Indiana. Every, every speech under

Holcomb was a forward-looking vision for governmental growth. And Pence had no idea what he was saying.

He was just reading whatever was put in front of him by his staff.

And so you got the feeling last night to put this out on Twitter that for the first time in 12 years,

there's like an adult in charge of the state.

Like it was a clear vision of here's the things we want to do.

Here's the things we want to do. Here's the things we want

to accomplish. Here's how it's going to benefit you. And government better get in line and

figure out a way to make this happen. So he urged quick action from state lawmakers on property

tax relief and also health care costs. His first priority, cutting and capping property taxes.

Of course, that's Senate Bill 1, which we've talked a lot

about it. And it seems he is getting some support. A statement from Rob Bray said, I'm extremely

pleased to see Governor Braun focusing his speech and his administration on issues that matter

most to Hoosiers. Property tax reform. So what a thrill that it was for us last night. So as many

of you know, late last week, I think it was Friday. In fact, we said, hey, email us your property

tax information. And we're going to read that on the air. And we also have a little plan that we're

working on that will have a lot of, a lot to good if you're if you'll send that over and we're going to share this information with people inside the state house what we couldn't tell you was that the brawn administration and this and look i got to say brawn on the property texting has been a plus is people been great work with. They've held up every end of their bargain.

They are really, really trying to get this thing done.
