Come on. Well, after meeting earlier this week, there still seems to be some tension between Mayor Adams and Mayor Alex Zoran Mamdani. All right, Foxx-Ives. Morgan McKeye here with the latest rumblings out of City Hall. Morgan. Hey, Stephen Natasha. So Mayor Alex Zoraamam-Dani isn't wazing on the sidelines until he takes office in less than a month and was out again passing out free hot chocolate to highlight his freezer rent proposal for rent-stabilized apartments. But Mayor Eric Adams also making moves in the background specifically to needle

Mom Donnie. Adams has not only spoke about potentially stacking the rent guidelines board with

appointees who opposed Mom Donnie's plan to freeze rents on rent-stabilized departments.

He also issued two executive orders. One prohibits a city from making business or pension

investment decisions that discriminates against Israel.

And the second order directs a police commissioner to evaluate proposals that would block protests from occurring close to houses of worship.

Both of these orders can be overturned once Mom Dani takes office.

Adams was asked today, why issue these orders now?

And Mom Donnie also responding.

I have a job to finish.

I have not land the plane on the aircraft carrier and say job mission accomplished.

I have more stuff to do. We got more stuff to do.

You know, there's a host of other things that we're going to churn out.

The mayor is free to issue as many executive orders as he'd like with the less than 30 days

that he has in office. And then we will be taking a look at every single once once we actually

enter into City Hall. Now Adams also has made moves recently to amend the city's budget to add

5,000 more officers.

Mom Donnie would have to eventually approve this change, but he says he wants a level to remain
