Summary

This just in… gossip destroys relationships. Ok, maybe you already knew that. The problem is, gossip is so common that you may not even notice that you, or people around you, are doing it. Why is it so damaging to yourself and others and what is the solution? We discuss the vice of gossip and the benefits of the virtue of restraint in this week’s message.

0:32.0	A few years ago, a girl on our staff now, but at the time was interviewing to have a position,
0:39.0	interviewed and applied at Watermark and she lived in Cocoa Beach, Florida.
0:43.0	And so as she was going through the process, we hadn't met her yet and really didn't know her.
0:47.0	We were connected with other people on our staff who said she had interest in applying and she applied.
0:52.0	And we want your team to set up a conference call or a Skype and get some time with her on the phone.
0:58.0	So we set up kind of an interview with her as a team and our administrative person set up and coordinated all six people on the young adults team.
1:06.0	And got us all in a room, conference phone there and we made the call.
1:10.0	So I began to call and her name is Elena.
1:13.0	And so we took out the big conference kind of phone.
1:16.0	You put it right in the middle and you dial it up and you dial the number.
