0:13.3	enjoyed our series that we kind of did through the summer, going through some of the greatest
0:17.5	hits and most popular episodes in Ask Me Anything and now Ask the Pastor.
0:23.3	It was helpful, I think, to just revisit some important topics, just topics that it seemed
0:27.6	like really resonated were helpful in the moment and maybe could be helpful again.
0:31.4	And so we are diving back into a new series now, though this fall we're going to spend some

0:38.2	series called Gospel and Politics, which is obviously very timely because we're entering into
0:45.1	this election season, if you haven't noticed, it is starting. I am, I feel like now we're in
0:49.3	that stretch where every third commercial is some sort of, you know, political ad or whatever. And so
0:54.1	we just felt like this was going to be a really timely series.
0:57.3	And so this series features some conversations between Pastor Jady and some incredible guests who are just really leading thinkers in different fields that we feel like are really kind of germane to this season and going to be really helpful for you guys.
1:12.4	And so obviously, I'm here without Pastor J.D., because this series is going to be Pastor J.D.
1:18.3	talking to some of these leaders.
1:20.0	And we'll be camping out in this series for a bit.
1:22.2	I hope it's really valuable for you as we're just all trying to kind of parse through the noise of the election season
1:29.5	and figure out what it looks like to go through this season as believers. And so the first
1:35.5	conversation and the first episode in this series is a conversation with Rebecca McLaughlin.
1:40.8	She holds a PhD from Cambridge University and a theology degree from Oak Hill Seminary in London.
1:47.0	She's also the author of several really, really good books, including confronting Christianity,
1:52.8	the secular creed, Jesus through the eyes of women, and does the Bible affirm same-sex relationships.
