So we are studying the Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna.

So if you remember, Sri Ramakrishna has just told the story of,

it's told two stories.

How do you handle problems in the world? Difficult people, for example.

So especially when you say that God is everything, God alone appears as everything.

So normally we would deal with God, we would approach God with reverence and prayer and surrender and awe.

But then what about wicked people? What about troublesome people? What about evil people?

How are they God and how do you deal with that? How do you live with that in life?

So two wonderful stories which Sri Ramakrishna told. One was the story of the Mahut, you know, the disciple

who heard that everything is God and he went out to beg from, he went to the ashram to the

village and somebody was shouting that the mad elephant is coming, run away. And everybody was

running away, but he thought that the elephant also is God, is Narayan. So why should I run away?

Even the Mahut on top of the elephant shouted, I can't control the elephant. Run away. But this

disciple thought, no, but the elephant is God. Why should I run away from God?

The elephant came charging down and picked up the unfortunate disciple and tossed him aside and went charging on.

So this young man, he lost consciousness. When the people in the ashram heard what had happened

to him, they came and they revived him and asked him, how did this happen? And he said,
