So we are reading the Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna, and we are going to read today from page 83.

Before I start reading, I was thinking, I thought occurred to me that he starts his discussion,

I mean, he starts his description of Sri Ramakrishna, his visits to Dakshaeshwar.

He goes there and he sees this maid servant outside the door whom he asks, does the Paramahamsa live here?

And Brinday, the name of the maid servant is Brindh.

So does he read a lot of books?

And the maid servant says, books, goodness me, no. It's all, no, on his tongue, whatever he says.

In Bengali, Mooka-Mukitathe, Tasha, book, everything is on his tongue.

And then he remarks, M remarks that how surprised he was, that he doesn't read books,

he always thought you need to read to get knowledge.

So I was thinking that this is very significant because M was a very subtle man and that you can see throughout the gospel of Sri Ramakrishna.

It's like a very vivid, intense description, but there are layers.

He used to observe things in a very subtle way.

Swami Bhuteshanandhii said that he had seen him,

and he said that whenever M would come to visit Belur M and he would meet the monks,

he would observe everything keenly.
