It is our official Anything Goes Day.

There's something that you've been wanting to talk about that I've been saying, well, you know, we got this topic and that topic and we'll discuss whether or not pigeons are actually robotic spies to the planet Xenon on some other day.

Well, this is the day, among other things.

The Republican Party is in full get a done mode on behalf of their billionaire owners.

And it's really interesting to watch this.

20 Republicans, night before last,

when the House voted, the House of Representatives, the Republicans

and the House of Representatives, voted to cut a trillion dollars out of Medicaid,

a half trillion dollars, 500 billion dollars out of Medicare.

And to take that one and a half trillion dollars and give it as tax breaks, about 80% of it to the top one or 2% of Americans.

And this is actually, it's not just a statement of you know who owns them or you know where their loyalties lie or what they're all about or and it's not even really a statement about politics,

because there is really no political argument for this.

The argument that's being made for these giant tax cuts for billionaires is that somehow

it's going to stimulate the economy and therefore increase the paychecks of average working Americans.

Well we know that that's a lie.

When George W Bush cut taxes on the wealthiest among us,

what did it do?

It reduced wages.
