So as you can see we have a lot coming up that's later in the hour the top story right now

The top story United States and the top story in the United States and

across much of the Middle East is this news of a tentative hostage deal which

would mark the largest breakthrough in the Israel-Hamas war to date. Now we know Israel-Hamaas have a potential deal with Israeli officials meeting

about the major, major potential breakthrough here where Hamas would release 50 women and children over about four days.

And Exchange, Israel would release 150 Palestinian women and children in their custody.

There also would be a possible partial ceasefire over about four days to aid trucks moving

into Gaza.

Those are just the general outlines of what is described by all parties and all accounts

at this hour as a quote tentative deal. You know what the word

tentative means, you know nothing's done until it's done in life and certainly

not something as serious and precarious as this. Now I can tell you as you see here it's about 1 a.m. local time at the Israel-Gaza border.

The Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu is in a meeting with his cabinet about trying to

approve this deal.

He's pushing for it.

He has publicly said it is a difficult decision, but the right decision.

Officials in Israel and the US stress the deal is precarious that it could still fall apart.
