0:10.4	As expected, there were not 10 Senate Republicans willing
0:13.4	to go along with such an inquiry.
0:15.7	At first blush, it sounds bewildering,

0:25.8	go home for their Memorial Day recess,
0:28.6	I'm sure they're going to take a moment to remember our heroes
0:31.4	who gave their lives to protect our freedom all around the globe.
0:35.0	So why doesn't that type of reflection translate
0:37.8	into honoring the Capitol police officers
0:40.0	who gave their all to protect them on January 6?
0:43.9	And to the ones still working daily to keep them safe,
0:47.9	like Eugene Goodman, who used himself as bait for the mob
0:51.3	to keep the rioters away from the Senate chamber
0:54.0	still full of lawmakers.
0:56.1	Goodman also rushed Senator Mitt Romney to safety.
