Well, you know it's getting ugly when lawmakers charge of upholding ethics are accusing one another of maybe being unethical, dishonest.

Congress is now erupting into turmoil over Donald Trump's pick for Attorney General Matt Gates.

Republicans on the House Ethics Committee are blocking the release of their own report into him.

The panel has spent years, years investigating allegations, just allegations

of sexual misconduct and also elicit drug use. Gates, of course, denies all of it. But he's not

waiting for any chance that the report actually drops. He showed up on Capitol Hill. He was flanked

by Vice President-elect J.D. Vance, aiming to gain some support with the Republican senators who will decide whether to confirm him.

Now, in his telling, smooth sailing.

We're going to have a lot of good advice and look forward to a hearing.
