House Republicans highlighted the shortcomings of President Biden’s border policies in a Homeland Security Committee hearing on Tuesday. On Monday, Governor Ron DeSantis signed a bill into law that would put an end to Disney's decades-old self-governing district in Florida. The new law gives the state control over a 5-member board that would oversee the operations and services provided by Disney theme parks. The legislation comes following the company's opposition to the Parental Rights in Education bill which banned curriculum related to sexual orientation and gender identity in classrooms from kindergarten through third grade.
