Rep. Ralph Norman says McCarthy tried to strong-arm the Republican Conference, threatening to kick members off committees unless they voted for him. The GOP Reformers asked McCarthy for months to implement the motion to vacate, single subject bills and to restore regular order. McCarthy suddenly wants to negotiate but Norman says it’s too late, they are now resolved. Norman says debt is the cancer in this country. Almost $32T of it and McCarthy has a 14-year history of never standing up against runaway Democrat spending. He says they’re working to elect Jim Jordan as Speaker because he’s a fighter and a born leader.
