distracting for me trying to prepare for this show, but the points you just made

about Alexei Navalny and Russia would be important just in another country.

But to imagine that in a country that does not enjoy democracy, these protesters came out, or whatever,

funeral attendees, if you want to call them,

came out and risk their safety and security

to protest for democracy is a remarkable lesson

for us here in America about what's going on.

It is a really, we felt it was a really important note to end the week on

because I know it's been a tough week for people and it sometimes feel like the system isn't working,

but it's really important to keep that that struggle in mind.

Russia without Putin. That was also one of the chance shouted by the thousands of people who turned out today for the funeral of the opposition leader and the Putin nemesis Alexei Navalny.

Thousands of people who knew that they were risking their freedom, possibly their lives, to say that.

Alexei Navalny, who was harassed, poisoned, imprisoned, and ultimately killed, is proof of what

happens to those who defy Vladimir Putin in

Russia.

Navalny's widow, Yulia, and their two children did not attend the funeral because of

fears of their own safety.

Russian police patrolled the funeral.
