0:38.3	Chekhov. Gooseberries is one of Anton Chekhov's most famous short stories.
0:45.5	Revisiting themes of class differences and social injustice,
0:49.0	the story describes the hypocrisy of rich landowners who ignore the sufferings of people less fortunate than themselves.
0:55.7	This story exploring the true meaning of happiness is part of a trilogy marked by the appearance of the two characters
1:01.6	Birken and Ivan Ivanovich.
1:04.5	The other two stories in the trilogy are The Man in a Case, which we just did last Sunday,
