All right, you've probably heard audio clips like these before.

Maybe you even know kids like these.

Maybe they're your kids. So what's your

opinion? Is technology dumbing us down? Is it really stealing our ability to think critically?

Well, according to a Mars poll, 49% of Americans think that technology actually makes us

dumber. While 46% say it makes us smarter. So if you think about it, it's an even

split on this topic. I think the real question is not whether technology is dumbing us down,

but whether we're allowing technology to actually think for us. I don't mean doing research.

I mean actually thinking, making decisions, thinking critically, developing ideas, defining our imagination.

Are we relying on tech to perform these things that used to define us as uniquely human?
