In this episode, I'm going to share how I leverage my Google

analytics data to deliver some amazing results with my blog. Google Analytics is a must.

There is no substitute. However, just having Google Analytics is not going to do much for your

blog. You have to know how to use it

and where in Google Analytics to spend most of your time. Let's face the facts. Google Analytics

has an immense amount of information. If you just went into one of the subsections and started

going through the secondary dimensions, then you

would be able to create enough data to spend five hours a day on for a year analyzing.

This can be confusing and overwhelming to marketing experts, much less bloggers.

I will be honest with you, I probably only know how to use less than half of all the different functions in Google

Analytics.

However, I know the ones that matter the most to my blog.

Let's go ahead and start with the basics.

You need to check in on your stats every single day.

The easiest way to do this is to click on the audience overview section.

I prefer looking at the 30-day snapshot.

This allows me to quickly see if yesterday's traffic is right around what it was the week before on the same day.
