It's a college in pub in the U district, and it closed on June 15th.

It's been around since the 70s.

This is somewhere I went as a student at U-Dub, and now that I work on the Ave, I've been working on the Ave despite kind of

working from home for the last six years or so. So I've gone there a lot and it's like hidden.

Like you come down the street, there's this huge old kind of two door style building with

restaurants on the ground floor. To get to the college in pub you have to go down

a side kind of alley through a nondescript door let's say down a flight of stairs and then you're in

this like almost kind of cozy underground tavern feeling space the lighting is always really low

there's no windows and it is not like one big

room. The bar is kind of in the middle. And then there's all these little carved out pieces all
