Before we get into today's episode of Good Vives, I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge that

today is International Transgender Day of Visibility.

And while today is meant to be a celebration of the trans community, I'm sure that many people,

especially those part of the sports community, are feeling saddened

and hurt by the International Olympic Committee's recent decision to ban transgender women from

the Olympics.

Here at the women's game, we are all sending our support to the trans community as a whole,

and especially to trans athletes who deserve every opportunity to compete.

I will be educating myself more on this ban and this topic so that I can continue to bring these conversations to this platform

and support the trans community the best that I can.

One of the resources I'm relying on for information is the human rights campaign.

They have a lot of information available on how to support the trans community today

and every day.
