I. How does God do it?- He invites ordinary people to dream something so great that it would be impossible if God did not do it.
- God is able. --Jeremiah 32:17; Luke 1:37
- God is desirous. --1 Corinthians 2:9
- God has promised. --Psalm 37:4
- God invites us. --Psalm 2:8; John 14:12-14
- Abram – He commands us to step out of our “comfort zone.”
- Joseph – He puts a dream within our heart.
- Moses – He allows us to fail in our attempt to accomplish His dreams in our own power.
- David – He teaches us through adversity to love the “Dream-giver” more than “the dreams.”
- Paul – He clarifies our calling in times of crisis and often uses our worst failures as the platform of His future fulfillment.
- Jesus – The dream will cost us our life and appear to others as the height of folly just before God accomplishes the impossible through us.
- Your life
- Your marriage
- Your children
- Your career
- Your ministry
- Write it down and then read it over regularly
- Pray over your dreams
- Look for God’s intervention and direction
