In today's prayer, we are going to have a time of remembering, of praise, of Thanksgiving.

I'm going to read pieces of a poem or a song that were composed in the book of Psalms chapter 103.

And in that, we are told, let all that I am praise the Lord,

and may I never forget the good things he does for me. The poem goes on then to outline

specific things that God had done for, the author of this poem, but I believe he's also done them for you

and for me. So as I read through the lines of this poem, I want you first to take time to remember.

Think about moments when these instances has happened for you and then thank God for them.

The first line declares in Psalms 103 says I'll read it one more time, but all that I am,

praise the Lord, and may I never forget the good things that he does for me. He forgives all of my sins.

Take a moment to think about the forgiveness that God has given you. Remember it. Praise him for it, and thank him.

The poem goes on to say that he heals all of my diseases.

As I read this one, I was a bit torn because God has supernaturally healed me.

When I was six weeks old, I almost died.

But yet there are still diseases that I struggle with that

I'm on daily medication for. And so that moment of, how do I remember? How do I thank God? How do I

praise him when it's only been partially done? But I want to encourage you in this moment that that is actually where the beauty lies,

that you are honest with God, that you remember what he's done, and you ask him for what he

hasn't and have an honest conversation with him.

So how do you feel about this statement

that he heals all my diseases?

In Psalm 103, the poet continues, that he redeems me from death.

And I find this so ironically beautiful because we all die.
