All right, today we're diving back into the book of Proverbs. We're in chapter 12

and we're going to look at one passage, verse number eight. And I think this

passage is so relevant for the day in which we live. We live in a day and age

when people are twisting things around to mean things that they don't really

mean. Now, let me just read the verse and then I think as we discuss it, it's

going to become very applicable, very relevant to the world we live in pretty

quickly. This is Proverbs chapter 12, verse number eight. It says, a man and you

could say a woman as well is commended according to his good sense. But one of

twisted mind is despised. So what he's doing here is he's contrasting two

different ways of thinking. One, he calls good sense. We might call it common

sense in our day. And the other, he calls a twisted mind. Now, it's very interesting.

A proverb lays out truths in the way they generally are true. Okay, in the way it

generally is accepted to be. This one says a man is commended when he has good
