Pasternurkis school here continuing our study of

ecclesiasties. Our meaningless life series this week hits part 15 the Texas Ecclesiasties chapter 9

verse 11 through chapter 10 verse 7 and the sermon title message title title, whatever you prefer is good news for losers.

We'll start by talking about winning.

We live in a world a day in age in which winning is a massive motivation.

When there's an opportunity to win, it compels people to make tremendous sacrifices and to press forward

and to give their awe. That's why when kids are little, we tend to tell them if you play by the rules you work hard you give

it all you've got you can win you can be a winner. When kids are growing up we read

them stories about people who did the right thing and as a result, they

were winners and bad people did the wrong thing and they were losers.

We are continually bombarded. Television, movies, social

narratives, social media about stories of hard-working people, let's say for

example athletes who overcame long odds to be a champion.

When kids are little, we read them stories, oftentimes fairy tales, about the poor humble peasant girl who acts with integrity and she becomes the princess or the outcast and downcast young man who conducts himself with honor and valor and eventually he becomes
