who have been on the receiving end of her advice for years.

and how she's now sharing that advice with others.

So your book, which is great, it's full of great advice, but it has a very personal backstory.

Can you tell us what inspired it?

Yes, it was the first day of my oldest daughter's senior year in high school and she left the house

and I started feeling melancholy.

You know, this was the beginning of the end.

I thought she's going to high school, which means she's going to college.

She's successful.

And I just got melancholy.
