Republican representatives in the state are trying to pass bills that would limit who could vote and when.

Meanwhile, the Democrats might not have the power to stop these bills, but they can be loud.

They can have their words put on the record.

All of these are barriers that would disproportionately impact the Democratic base and people of color.
