So kind of how we decided to sort of, rather than like the humans must die, it's like, no, I want you to like me.

I need you to like me.

I need you to be engaged.

In this episode, a man recruits a group of unlikely heroes to help him save the world,

and director Gore Verbensky's sci-fi adventure comedy, good luck, have fun, don't die.

The film follows a man, allegedly from the future, who arrives at a Los Angeles diner

and takes the patrons hostage.

Claiming they are the precise combination of strangers he needs, he convinces them to join a

quest to save the world from a rogue artificial intelligence.

In addition to good luck, Fun Don't Die, Fribinski's other directorial credits include

the feature films A Cure for Wellness, The Lone Ranger, Rango, Mouse Hunt, and the Pirates

of the Caribbean trilogy, The Curse of the Black Pearl, Dead Man's Chest, and at World's End.

Following a screening of the film at the DGA Theater in Los Angeles,

Rubinsky spoke with director Sasha Gervasi about filming Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die.
