And we're going to be talking about a book.

What's the name of the book?

Getting Grit. Getting Grit.

Getting Grit by whom?

Well, but that's just the main title.

The subtitle is the evidence-based approach to cultivating passion, perseverance, and purpose.

And the author is Carolyn Adams-Miller.

I actually heard her on the Good Life Project podcast uh last week with jonathan fields or two weeks ago

or whenever it was and she um i listened to that podcast i don't know i think i'm on my third time

because she kind of when grit when angela duckworth wrote her book about grit i think it got

it kind of got condensed to meaning one thing.

You know, the education community kind of got a hold of it and all of a sudden it became this buzzword and people talked about it and kind of made it one dimensional.

Well, and here's, because I think, I think my take on the word grit was it gave an opportunity for old school parents.

And tell me if I'm wrong.
