Welcome to our Rosary Meditation.

Jesus asked St. Faustina to begin a novena to the divine mercy on Good Friday

that would end on the first Sunday after Easter, Divine Mercy Sunday.

She writes, Jesus is commanding me to make a novena before the Feast of Mercy,

and today I am to begin it for the conversion of the whole world and for the recognition of the divine mercy,

So today, we will meditate on Good Friday, and the fifth decade of our

rosary, we will begin the divine mercy novena. Then for the next eight days, we will do the divine

mercy novena together in the rosary. So let's begin in the name of the

Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen. Let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for.

Good Friday is all about Jesus' total offering of love to save us.

How do we understand what Jesus did for us by His cross and His death?

The Catechism tells us that all sin is a turning away from God, away from his will in disobedience,

away from his love by our refusal to love him. But Jesus opened up the floodgates of divine
