This is the greatest hour to follow Jesus.

Tonight I'm going to teach on Christ crucified.

And I want you to take your Bibles, if you would.

And turn to 1 Corinthians chapter 1.

I'm going to start, thank you, Joel.

I'm going to start reading here at verse 18.

The scripture says in 1st Corinthians 118,

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing.

But to us who are being saved, it is the power of God.

For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise and bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.

Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? understanding of the prudent.

Where is the wise?

Where is the scribe?

Where is the disputer of this age?

Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?

That's being proven more and more every day.

For since in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe.

For Jews want a sign and Greeks sink after wisdom.

That's true, I know that.

But we preach Christ crucified.
