time. It's time for another edition of Fighting for the Faith.

It's Good Friday.

Day we remember Christ's bitter sufferings and death on the cross,

for our sins and for our salvation. Thank you for tuning in, you're listening to fighting for the faith.

My name is Chris Roseboro.

I am your servant in Jesus Christ and this is the program that dishes up a daily dose of biblical discernment, the goal of which.

Help you to think biblically, help you to think critically, help you compare what people

are saying in the name of God to the word of God.

Now on Good Friday I have a tradition, a historical precedent if you would of deviating

from the fighting for the faith script.

The reason being is that this is not a day when I can think about heresy the only

thing I can really think about is Christ to him crucified for my sins and I

think that's the right thing to focus on on a day like this and because I know how busy we Americans or those of you listening in other countries in other Western nations are I know that there is a good chance that many of you will

not have the opportunity to attend a Good Friday Church Service today.

And so in years past, I've always made a point of

taking the broadcast and focusing it on Christ and I'm not going to do anything

different today. In fact, if you would suffer the thought, think of today's

addition of fighting for the faith as well a poor imitation, if you would would of a good Friday church service. It's not really a church service, but I want to bring you some good hymns and I want to bring you some good teaching, not that my teaching I consider it good, but to focus

us today appropriately on where our focus needs to be, and that's Christ on the cross. And so what we're
