Your wife has bought a new dress, she's bought new shoes for your daughter and they're excited about wearing them out on Easter.

I always every year at this time I see the Debbie Downers saying, you know, that Easter is not about a new dress and

new shoes and a new hat. Well no that's not the meaning. But what's wrong with marking the occasion?

My wife doesn't buy new clothes.

She's not a closed person. It's not her thing.

My kids, my son wears a shirt that he's stretched out since he was in eighth grade, is raggedy, and is comfortable,

and they never want new things, and I'm very lucky, and I think they get that because we're not things people but some people are especially little

girls some girls feel special if they have a new dress doesn't have to be expensive or new pair of shoes or new

hat or new gloves and they get to wear them to church on Easter what's wrong

with that and little girls who are our wives and our mothers, they're still little girls.
