I am in a terrible mood. If you've seen my Insta story, my Snapchats, or my vlog channel, you'll have known this

already, but I have a really bad eye infection. If you were watching this, you can probably

see it very clearly. On Saturday night, I was slightly intoxicated. Nothing crazy, just a little tipsy. And I went to wash my face before bed,

because even in that state, I'm still going to floss, brush, put my retainers in, do my flow nays,

wash my face, and put my moisturizer on, and maybe a little hand lotion before I crawl into bed.

I'm responsible. That's just who I am. So anyway, Saturday night, I wanted to get in bed quickly as I was tired. So I wash my

face really quickly and normally I use this, it's a cleansing gel from activist skin care. Shout out to them. Hey, yo, not sponsored,

but if they want to, I love them. I ran out of that cleanser. But this other company that I get

another face product from always sends me samples. And they sent me a cleansing sample, a facial

cleansing sample. And I said, oh, dope. I will just use that because my other stuff is on

subscription and it's not here yet. So I was using it and I was going really quickly being a

fucking dummy and I got it in my eye. And I think because I was slightly intoxicated,

it didn't register that I should, you know, really jump on this and fix it as quickly as possible because it st stung for like a second. And then I like, wipe my eye and it was fine. The next morning, and then I did the rest of my stuff, right? Whatever. It didn't bug me that bad. And then I went to sleep. I was like, wap-glop-la-d-d-do. Bed. The next morning I woke up and my eye was like kind of sore, slightly irritated, if you will. But I was like, nah, it'll go away, whatever. And I did the rest of my day. By the end of the night, my eye was really sore. And I was like, fuck, this might be a bigger issue than anticipated. And asked abby i said should i go to urgent care

you know get this looked at and she's like yeah if it's worse tomorrow i'm like all right well

tomorrow happened and i woke up and my eye was almost swollen shut damn it and i was like i'm too

busy i have so much shit to do i do not have time to go to urgent care today. Maybe at the end of the day or tomorrow. Well, lucky for me, but unlucky for my friend. She had to get stitches. Our friend texted us in the middle of working. My friend texted me and Abby and said, hey, is anyone bored? I'm about to get stitches and I'm scared.

And I said, hold up. Wait a minute. The fuck? Where are you at? And to me, I will put off my own stuff, but I will be there for somebody else. And that's a flaw of mine. I should be there for myself just as much as I'm there for other people. It's not a flaw that I show up for others. it's a flaw, I don't show up for myself.

So she dropped her location and she was not at an urgent care. And I was like, I'm on my way. And I showed up and she's like,

what the fuck is going on with your eye? I'm holding her hand while she's getting stitches in her

finger. She cut herself meal prepping. Dangerous act meal prepping. But the doctor there that was, he was a nurse practitioner that was sewing her up, looked at me. He's like, yeah, you need to get that looked at. All right. So he literally, I went to the front, put my name in, did all my insurance stuff. And I came back in right when he was done with her finger, he moved on to me. I didn't even have to leave the room. She's like, is this violating HIPAA? I was like, I can set. I don't care. So he was like, oh, it doesn't look like a sty. It looks like an infection that was caused by an allergic reaction. You are allergic to that face cleanser, throw it out, do a different one. I said, that's fine by me. It was just a sample. And he said that basically my eye got irritated and then it turned into an infection. So he gave me ointment. Now, my eye wasn't, is not that bad. Like it doesn't burn, it, sting. It doesn't feel like with a stye, every time you blink, it feels like there's a little shard of glass in your eye, right?
