Growing up, my mom always stressed to me the importance of writing a thank you note to

anyone and everyone who did anything close to resembling kindness towards me.

We do this with our daughter to even professionally, it's like if you go out and on auditions

and a thank you note because it stands out.

It honestly does, and it's something that I still do to this day.

I always make sure to have those thank you notes, those blank cards at hands that I can

always grab one, but an article I found claims that writing thank you notes has become

a thing of the past.

Many Americans aren't using snail mail anymore to carry their words of gratefulness to others.
