This is Hunt Detail.

And over the next few weeks and months, I'm going to be dropping some episodes titled Blueprint 2025.

And the objective of these podcasts is to just share some of the things

that I'm doing to prepare for fall of 2025. I plan on hunting at least four different states,

one state out west for mule deer and three other states here in my region in the Midwest for

whitetail and some of that will include tweaks to my gear tweaks to my arrow set up tweaks

obviously understanding you know terrain with boots on the ground scouting, with e-scouting, that sort of thing.

And so I'm going to talk a little bit about today about some of the boots on the ground scouting that I did in a state where I sort of went back to the scene of the crime.

And we'll get into that in a minute. What I would say is that this time of year

is when a lot of hunting gear goes on clearance. If you think about over the past few weeks,

I've talked about the ATA and the shot show, and you have all these companies, all these

brands coming out with new gear.

Or maybe it's new broadheads, new trail cameras, new clothing lines, maybe new rain gear or whatever.
