The Gone To The Dogs Podcast introduces its Legend Series of recordings with the nation’s best known and most revered raccoon hunters occupying the guest spot. This week the podcast features one of the sports most respected and longest running breeders of Treeing Walker Coonhounds, as Steve brings the renown Jim “Wildman” Meeks to the Gone To The Dogs microphone.   Meeks, a first ballot inductee into the North Carolina State Coon Hunters Hall of Fame, is possessed of a wealth of knowledge in all areas of the coon hunting game.  Steve and Jim, besides being contemporaries in age, have been friends for many years.  A visit with Jim Meeks is like experiencing a real, live family reunion each time the pair gets together.
