Welcome everyone once again to the gone to the podcast. Steve Fielder here coming at you from the road, that long and winding road from Florida all the way up to New Jersey.

Can you imagine a redneck hillbilly like me in New Jersey about 60 miles from New York City?

Corey Groover, my compatriot in crime is not here in Jersey, but he's one state over.

How are you doing tonight, Corey?

I'm doing pretty good, Steve.

I think you're probably still about as far away from me as you would be in Florida.

Yeah, Pennsylvania is a wide state, isn't it?

I mean, from east to west, it's a long, long ways across there.

Yeah, you're not about that.

Well, somebody said one time, the more that our country, our culture gets away from

the family farm, the less common sense.

Less common sense is prevalent.

Right here in this area of New Jersey, where I am, is in the western part, and there's

actually some hills, some ridges.

There's a trout stream right near here that I always try to fish when I'm up here,

but so far I haven't been able to do it because it always rains.

And, you know, trap fishing or fly fishing especially is not good when the creeks are

out of their banks and it's all muddy and all, you know.

Without making this a fly fishing podcast, I won't talk about that.
