Feels a little bit strange to be this excited about it, but I think if you can put

it in its isolation in its spot, maybe it's more important because it gives us something to

release. I don't know how you're supposed to feel about all these things. But I'm David Locke,

joined by Washington Post, Goliver Ben how are you today?

I'm good no David I share your mixed feelings man I think that part of me is is kind of relieved and happy that they finally reached, you know, kind of a conclusion after weeks of haggling back and forth.

And part of me is just

disappointed in the NBA regarding the timing.

I guess I would just put it to you with this kind of a hypothetical.

I mean, imagine if the NFL had put forward a plan that didn't take the bare minimum number of teams, you know, it took

22 teams more than you would need for the playoff that announced it, essentially announced

it without laying out the specifics of their

testing or health and safety program.

If they did it after, you know, Roger Guiddell in this case really hasn't been public for nearly two months in terms of any meaningful way.

And they were essentially trying to put, you know, what is an overwhelmingly African American League,

which is at a higher risk for the coronavirus,

you know, into a situation where we're announcing this comeback

right in the middle of almost a week straight of nationwide protests

that have swept more than a hundred cities and have seen lots and lots of

you know violence in and clashes between police and protesters you you know, across the country.
