Today for you I have nothing short of an American icon.

She is Academy Award winner Goldie Hahn.

Where to begin with Goldie Hahn?

Well I guess we could begin in 1968 with Lathen when she became a star very quickly in

the next year was cast in the comedy Cactus Flower for which she won at 24 years old

an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor.

So by 1970 she's 24 and an Academy Award winner.

She started out as a dancer growing up in Washington DC as you'll hear in the interview never

really wanted to be a movie star but it just kind of happened to her.

Dance her way into a movie was seen in the movie then got on Lathen and the rest is history.

I won't go through her entire list of movies you know them all and I'll leave one out

that will make you mad but suffice it to say between private Benjamin for which she also

was nominated for an Academy Award overboard with her longtime partner Kurt Russell.

I mean, protocol.

You can go down the list.

There are so many great movies she's been in skipping ahead to first wives club, banger

sisters, all those movies and most recently after a 15 year break from acting she came

back and did these really popular Christmas chronicles movies where she plays Mrs.

Clause to Kurt Russell Santa Claus.

But what she's really here to talk about today and we do get into all that in her career

...
