Goldie, we've had a lot of comedic actors on our show and comedians in general, and they all talk about the first time they got a laugh, whether it was on stage in a school play, a community playhouse, or even in the classroom. It was that first laugh that sort of hit them differently. It felt so good that they started seeking

out opportunities for comedy. Did any of that happen to you? Is that what led you to laugh in?

I never had an epiphany that made me shift course.

There's no plan. The only plan I ever had was what if I didn't get a commercial or I didn't get on a TV show dancing or if I didn't do that?

Stardom scared me anyway. I didn't like the idea of stars of's a little bit like looking at all the lies and things that they tell you on it on Instagram and everything else and Tik-talk on the news. But, you know, they always had people divorcing and drunk and this and they weren't happy and all those headlines.

I didn't want that and I really didn't. I did not want to be a star. I had I kind of got nervous around the idea that that would happen. So I didn't I wasn't led by ambition. I will say that the first big laugh I ever got was in high school when I played the

mayor's wife where I had to faint because you know the Elvis Presley type person right who was playing you know the guy

I mean literally I just got up and kept fainting. Well, I guess with my physical acumen or whatever,

it was a huge laugh.

And that's when that felt good.

But I did it because I did it. I can't explain it. I just did it. It just happened and then the laughter happened.

Yeah, yeah. So that it's kind of like that, you know, and then that was taken on the chorus line, meaning my first show. I was so excited and an agent saw me rehearsing at NBC Studios with you know 11 other beautiful girls by the way and we were doing a special and
