Hey everybody welcome back to another bald movie this week we are talking about the

1995 James Bond movie Goldeneye it's the first James Bond movie featuring Pierce Broznan as the 007 agent.

This was directed by Director Martin Campbell, which you might recall from a few weeks ago,

also directed the Mask of Zorro, also directed came back to the Bond franchise for Casino Royale in

2006, and directed Jackie Chan in The Forester, the

The Foreigner in 2017.

Just goes through the forest chopping down trees.

He does, with his bare fucking hands, and kicks headbutts one or two. I did this so this is um this is my

favorite of the Pierce-Bronsen, James Bond. It's not even close.

Jim, what did you think of this movie?

I mean, mine too.

Yeah, the Pierce-Bras-Nen is a great bond in my opinion who got one really really good movie

and a bunch of stincers like three other stincers yeah this movie is a classic. I saw this movie when it came out which I was 13 years old at the time and a lot of it just kind of washed over me and I didn't quite understand it. It just sort of went over my head with the

Cossacks and their relationship to the Russians and all that stuff and the British

especially but like going back and watching this as a 38 year old man I got a lot more out of it and I think it's actually pretty tightly written.

Yeah, we were doing a weird trying this experiment where we used a Netflix party app to watch it with a bunch of club members

And the trade-off in watching something you haven't seen in a long time or something you haven't seen before and trying to entertain people at the same time is you miss a bunch of things and I was I remember when we were kind of yucking up thinking oh man this movie doesn't hold together as much as I would like like.
