golden ticket talks continue. In this episode, we talk with the second place mail finisher at the

2022 Bandera 100K, Mr. Tyler Fox. Tyler is based in Lander, Wyoming, and has been quietly, at least in my opinion,

I've been crushing some of the top mountain ultra trail races across the American West,

including the Bear 100, the Speed Goat 50K, the Big Horn 100, and that's just the name of few.

In addition to the recap of his race and his initial thoughts on Western states in June,

we talk about his coaching business and the state of that profession in our sport,

the trail running scene in Lander, Wyoming.

What's exciting and concerning him most about the trajectory of our sport, as well as the

issue of eating disorders among trail runners.

Multiple listeners of the show reached out beforehand to note that Tyler may very well

be the most underrated athlete on the American scene right now, and I think I agree. I'm excited to see what

this past weekend. I appreciate it. It was a really special day out there. And yeah, everything went

close to or close enough to plan to be a good day. Before we get into the nuts and bolts of what transpired at Bandera and the lead

up to it and what you're thinking about a couple days removed from the event, I do want

to touch on this one topic.

And it's the fact that you've been in the sport for, I would say, quite some time.

I'd call you a veteran at this point.
