one of the greatest dynasties in NBA history and I'm breaking any news with that and

we're going to do it with our own Sam Orlick host of the sports Ethos Golden State Warriors

But before we do that, let's bring in Steve.

I'm wondering if we can rewind the clock a little bit.

So the time is right around the time I started up with NBC.

The warriors were still Don Nelson's baby

and not the baby that was hanging out

the underside of his vest that he would wear under the blazer as that belly would like kind of

protrude out but if you don't mind I'd like you to paint the picture of two things

here the first is what is it or what was it like to be the first analyst to kind of go all in on Stephen Curry because I remember that was a really

definitive moment for fantasy analysis I don't think people really understood the power of the

percentages and I don't think they believe that he could be elite either and I

remember you were just miles ahead of everybody with that and then the other thing

which is probably more interesting to fantasy heads.

Can you explain to listeners who might not have been playing back then?

What was it like covering the warriors in the Don Nelson era?
