What's up, Revels? Welcome back to a new episode of the weekly sports show. It's me, Pepper.

We have some major events and big news to cover this episode. First of all, I spoke with eight WMBA

draftees. Then I had the amazing opportunity to attend and cover the Business of Women's Sports Summit,

which is where I'm recording this week's episode.

But it wasn't only a busy week for me.

Now to the Rebel Report.

Rebels, we are entering the point of the year where all the sports are colliding, and

that means more fun for us on the show.

First up, the League One volleyball championship starts today in Los Angeles with Salt Lake and Austin basing off.

They'll play again on Saturday to determine this year's champion.

After those semifinals had me literally on the edge of my seat.

A golden set?

I mean, are you kidding?

We've got two of the most

dominant teams going head to head now. Austin is trying to run it back and keep their title.

No pressure or anything. On to the main event, the WMBA drafts. I don't even know where to start

because this draft class has been on everyone's radar for months, and it did not disappoint.

30 years of the WMBA, and this feels like a full circle moment with the amount of talent in that draft.

And a huge congrass to every single player that got drafted. You earned that.

I have to say, I was excited to see Azey Fug go number one and be reunited with her Yukon teammate in Dallas, Paige Beckers.

And one that maybe surprised me but didn't really was Gabrielle Hawkes going number five.

She was projected lower in some of the mock drafts, but I do think her draft stock went way up after her performance in the final four national championship.
