Like a more Jewish-themed bad lieutenant with all the intensity and half-a-sensationalism,

and for the first big news is I was in rage beyond all belief that Robert Tenerra was snubbed for best actor and musical drama,

so that was just ridiculous.

But the good news is Irishman did do very well otherwise, up for best picture, Scorsese's up for director,

Pacino and Pesci up for supporting actors, Steve Zellian's up for a dappin' screenplay,

so very, very happy to see him with what I love there.

Bong Junho for Parasite, love seeing him getting out of here for best director,

and Parasite is up for form film, I'm hoping that somehow that Parasite can crash the party

and actually get out of here for a best picture just as Roma did a season ago,

but it's up for form film as well.

So that's not too many surprises, I was hoping Shyla Buff to get nodded for Honeyboy,

which I haven't seen yet, but I just think it's a good story.

My buddy Ben Lines has seen it like 20 times because he's been interviewing Shyla Buff all over Los Angeles,

so he did not get in, but that's the one category.

Honestly, my first glimpse to Golden Gloves, look at supporting actor.

Brad Pitt for once upon a time in Hollywood, Al Pacino for the Irishman, Tom Hanks, a beautiful day in the neighborhood,

Joe Pesci, the Irishman, and Anthony Hopkins, the two popes.
