bringing you another Golden Rewind, where we go back and rewatch our favorite episodes of the

Golden Girls and offer new insights since we first started breaking down these episodes way back in 2014.

And it's time to put on your tap shoes and do a six-count Cincinnati Rift with a double pullback

because we just rewatched Season 1, Episode 18, The Operation.

What?

This is definitely an episode that's not in heavy rotation, although it has great moments from it.

Doesn't it have the Rose saying she pets the cat too hard line?

It does. It does.

And I mean, so just full disclosure, because I usually watch the episode right before we record because I have no brain cells and forget things.

And so, but today, I watched it yesterday. And so now I'm a day later. So now I'm like, do I remember

what we watched? I don't even know. It's just all a fever dream for you. This episode is, you know,

it's so interesting because like, oftentimes I find

when we watch season one episodes, they're usually very intentional. It's the, it's the, a little

romance. It's the pilot episode. It's like you're going for a very specific reason. And we did that

today. But we don't watch a lot of season one episodes over again i think i don't

know why i think maybe i don't know why i watch it and it is jarring how different the the video

quality looks to the rest of the series you know what i mean like it is different in a lot of ways

um but it was it was an enjoyable experience.
