Hello everybody and welcome back to another episode of Speaking with Joy. We are in the midst of what I've been calling in my mind my escape cast, which is a series of lovely and wholesomely distracting episodes on various topics I find fascinating and fun, also with lots of people that I've

intended to talk to for a long time and have just now gotten around to talking to. So today I

have the great fun and great pleasure of inviting a Twitter friend who has recently written

and is coming out with a novel very soon to the show. And this is Samantha Coho.

Thank you so much for having me. This is so fun. So fun. I followed you on Twitter for a long time,

and then recently, it's been really fun. Of course, you know, we're all

stuck inside. And I've had like a novel by various places in my house so that like if I'm there

and I just want to pick up, I can pick it up and read for a little bit. And one of them has been

the arc to your upcoming novel. So I'm excited to chat with you about your writing and also

about one of my pet fascinations,

which is alchemy.
