Summary

The two-hour “Golden Bachelor” finale actually did bring Mel’s soporific journey to a relatively dramatic conclusion. In large part, this was thanks to Cindy, whose refusal to stay on the field like a good little football player and continue to compete for Mel’s (begrudgingly offered) companionship finally unleashed some real emotion in Mel.
