And today we have a very special guest, it is director Maureen Barucha, who has made a movie called Golden Arm coming out in theaters and digital.

Hi, thanks for having me.

Yeah, absolutely. I mean, this movie is really funny, by the way.

I've laughed several, like many times in this movie.

All right, mission accomplished that. Yes.

Yeah, I was wondering what drew you to this project and how did you come to be a part of it?

Yeah, I mean, one, you know, I'm such a movie buff. I'm so obsessed with movies.

So movies is kind of my first love of directing.

And when I heard about this project, it was from the writer's Amory Allison and Jim Milley.

About five years ago, they, they were starting their script and they approached me because they had seen some of my short films.

And they asked me if I would do a sizzle to kind of go along with their script as they took it out to get financing.

And just the premise alone, they, you know, they were like, Amory actually was an arm wrestler in one of these underground arm wrestling, you know, competition.
