The market's finished a volatile day on Tuesday in the red.

The average is generally closing near the lows the day.

The Dow Jones was down 184 points.

That was almost 800 points lower than its intraday high.

Talk about a turnaround Tuesday.

A lot of the volatility centered around President Biden's midday speech, although everybody

kind of knew the speech was coming all morning, where Biden announced that the US was going

to officially suspend imports from Russia in particular, Russian oil, which really accounts

for about 3% of US consumption.

Of course, when Biden announced that he was going to ban the import of Russian oil in

the United States, he also claimed that he wanted American oil companies to make up the

difference and to produce more oil, but he also didn't want US oil companies taking
